In the game, the Crystal Knife is a dagger sharpened with hard crystal, wielded by amphibole miners and revered for its ability to deliver devastating magic damage in short-range melee combat. It scales with Intelligence, Strength, and Dexterity, embodying the perfect balance of form and function.
But how do you translate such a mythical blade into reality?
The Journey Begins
Crafting the Crystal Knife with obsidian was no small feat. Obsidian, known for its sharpness and elegance, is as fragile as it is beautiful. The process required precision, patience, and a bit of luck—a fitting tribute to the challenges faced by Elden Ring players.
The path was anything but smooth. My first attempt failed—a sharp crack in the obsidian reminded me just how temperamental this material can be. But with perseverance and a touch of fortune, my second attempt was a success.

- Polishing and Finishing: Finally, the entire piece was polished to perfection, highlighting the obsidian’s natural beauty and crystalline allure.
